about

Anywhere But Here
Recored Live at Saint Lukes in Glasgow
December 2018

Scott was just 16 when he first set off on a voyage of self-discovery. His destination? Kavos, of course. Where else?

Delivered in his uniquely honest style, Gibson takes you on an epic odyssey that charts the choppy waters of youth, the hedonism of travel, friendship, and the dangers of local tipples. This new show is a wonderful exploration of the reasons that we, as humans, feel the need to travel and what that means to us at the different stages of our lives.

In recent years Scott has successfully established himself as one of the best Scottish Comedians of his generation, a title that was cemented when he received the Lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe. He is also known as the Co-host of The HashTag Show, Scotland’s smash hit Comedy Podcast and has supported some of the biggest names in comedy on their national tours including Des Clarke, Daniel Sloss and Frankie Boyle, who describes Scott as a “natural, gifted, and unapologetic storyteller”.

Scott and comedian Richard Gadd made history at the 2016 Edinburgh Comedy Awards when they became the first Scottish winners to scoop both of the main prizes – Best Newcomer and Best Show – in the same year. The success of his second full-length show at last year’s Fringe consolidated Scott’s position as one of the burgeoning talents of the UK Comedy industry.
